IAquaLink Spa Issue

I recently had an IAquaLink 3.0 system installed to replace a preexisting automation system. When I go into Spa Mode with the heater, once the spa reaches the set temperature not only does the heater turn off, but the filter pump turns off as well. I spoke with tech support at IAquaLink, who said this is not normal, is not something to fix via a setting, and it therefore must be an installation issue.

Of course, the installer states that everything is installed correctly and it must be a software/setting issue.

Please help!

Welcome to TFP.
What you state happening is abnormal. Can you take a screen shot of your schedule to show how that is set up?
Also, take a picture of your equipment pad that shows both the suction lines to the pump and the return lines to the pool.

Also, how did you turn on Spa Mode? Is it a schedule or manually by pushing the icon for Spa?

What system did you have prior to AquaLink 3.0 and did they change any plumbing or just the automation system?
This is a picture of the schedule screen.

Thank you for such a quick reply! The system replaced a Hayward system (pro logic I believe). No plumbing changes were made. As for access, the spa is not scheduled to run, but instead, I press the spa mode function to turn it on. Lastly, attached are photos of the piping and the schedule screen.

Thanks for the photos.
I do not see anything that is obvious that may be causing the filter to shut down with the heater.

Do you press the icon for spa mode on your phone screen or do you use the one touch icon? Do both automated valves rotate 180 degrees when moving between Spa mode and Pool Mode?

If you press the One Touch icon - what other things are programmed when the spa mode is activated.

The picture of the equipment is from the side so hard to see the position of the automated valves (1 each on suction and return). Put the system in SPA mode and take a picture from that left side looking at both automated valves.

On the main Aqualink screen, press menu, then system setup, then Device Runtime. Is anything set up on that?
