Which Chemical First

I have met my water get out of balance and need to SLAM. Here are my current numbers. My thought is balance PH first, but not positive. In what order would you handle these?
FC 0
PH 8.54
TA 140
CYA -at 20 the dot was still pretty visible

Get 10 ppm of CYA hanging in a sock in front of a return. Lower the PH .4 at a time until it's a low 7.

Then SLAM Process. Target will be 12 FC for 30 CYA. Check it after a few days once it's had time to register. 20 and below are sketchy to read and you may need more than 10. (But don't want to overshoot)

Thanks for your reply. So I can start lowering my PH while increasing my CYA?

Yes. Add the Muriatic acid away from the CYA or pull/move the CYA sock for the few minutes it takes to add the MA.
