Robotic Cleaners and Fine Dirt

My dolphin s-200 came with two sets of filters. One set is called ultra fine and appear to be pleated. They work great on fine dirt

I have a Dolphin Sigma which came with 2 sets of filters, one fine mesh and one pleated. I have always used the pleated one which picks up the finest of dirt.

I’d stick with the S series and their variants. You can get two sets of filters or use the higher end i version’s integrated fine/coarse filtration basket. I had an S300i for 5 years and it did an admirable job picking up both large debris as well as fines. I’ve since stopped using robots because they are poorly engineered and only last 3-5 years before a major failure happens. Spare parts are limited and rebuilding a robot from a major failure is often it financially smart. They follow the iPhone model of revenue - after 3-5 years you just toss what you have and buy new.

I just checked out the model you're looking at and it appears it already comes with the pleated ultra fine filters. I'd hope they would do the job, but not sure if the reviews you're reading already have the ultra fine or not.
