Hi everyone. So glad I found this website. Wonderful information. I bought the TF testkit and love the ease of seeing the color changes. So much easier to use. I would love some information on using Borates. Read the article on TFP website, but still not sure I understand.

We recommend a pool owner manage their pool for a year or so before looking at Borates. They are completely optional. They do help reduce calcium scale in a SWCG if you have a high CH and TA.
