Adding baking soda

I tested TA with my TFT-pro kit. It is 40. Pool Math says I need to add 13 lbs baking soda.

What is the best way to do that?

I’ve seen some comments in threads about pH - but I haven’t seen straightforward instructions anywhere.

Help would be much appreciated.
 
Yeah, all the test results would be better help.

That said, you will find the baking soda dissolves in the water VERY easily. Put it directly in the pool and brush it around a little if any is left on the bottom.
