Not really a pool question, but close. I have an inground pool for about 18 years. Every three or four years I have to power-wash the concrete walkways around the pool to remove the algae / black spots etc. The stones are starting to appear. I tried using Thompsons water sealer but that did not work. Any suggestions for a sealer or even paint to use. Thanks, Mike

Not inexpensive. A power washer will damage concrete regardless of the sealer used.

Thanks 1poolman1 for the reply. I was also thinking about a paint to change the color. We had to replace a few sections of cracked cement and the new concrete looks very different from the old.
We got two quotes for sealing the concrete pavers so we are going to finally get this done. One company made me nervous as they discussed sealer as having gloss which we are going to avoid. I came on this site to try and find sealer recommendations too. I just want something matte to protect from potential stains.
