Hi

Last fall at closing when the pipe was blown, one side of the MD cover came loose. We put it back in place, and it is holding up good

However, before i close, I want to get it fixed

Hopefully it is a matter of a new srew and bolt but if the hole is bigger or bad, is there a fix that can be done to screw the MD cover?

Thanks

How old is the pool? A slightly larger stainless screw may work depending on the main-drain you have now.
You may want to get a VGB-compliant retro-fit cover that can be installed over the existing sump. Pool may have to be drilled and plastic anchors installed.

Thanks. The pool is old but a new cover was installed in 2016 When the hydrostatic valve was replaced. If drilling is needed, will pool need to be drained?
