AquaComfort Electric Heater Tripping Breaker

AquaComfort pool heater, Model ACT 1250T6S, serial #1800515

when heater kicks on it keeps tripping the breaker….i already replaced the breaker but it keeps tripping

AquaComfort is tough to get a hold of and told me it could be 1 of 2 parts and to send pics…. figure i would post here to see if there is any help
the company that opens my pool wants to start with 1 part…. i just want to make sure that i just dont start throwing parts at this and it racks up a big bill

Check the start capacitor for the compressor.

Put a clamp on ammeter on the power lines and see what amps it is pulling at startup.

Have an HVAC tech look at the problem. The problem is likely in the start capacitor or compressor. A capacitor problem is inexpensive to fix, a compressor problem is expensive to fix.
