How Clear is TFP Clear? Let's See (Pics Only Please).

We bought a house this past winter with a 32,000 gallon IGP. No clue what we were in store for other than what the previous owner told us (newer filter and pump). I’m a DIY guy and wasn’t afraid of attempting my first pool opening.

It was a slow process…not set up to vacuum to waste and it didn’t appear the pool was cleaned before closing. After vacuuming as much as I could see, I started my SLAM. I could not get FC to rise with the recommended amount of bleach and CYA was zero. I was sure I had an ammonia problem so I gave up for the night and woke up to FC at 23. That went down to my SLAM level fairly quickly and I was able to pass an OCLT the next night. Being a first time pool owner, this site has been so helpful and it feels rewarding to have a crystal clear pool considering the swamp I started with!

10 days after opening but it was this clear on day one. 16 years old and the liner is original, but quite faded now. It will need replacing next year only because of holes we found. Lol. TFPC lengthened its life by 7-9 years beyond what its lifespan was supposed to be. 💃

Y’all!! I got a pool light. Now I can see all my floor wrinkles at night! 😬😬🤣🤣🤣 Kidding…they’re not ALL wrinkles ha. My pump was on when I took this, so there’s some movement going on. I swear it looks way better when it is off and the water is still lol. The wrinkles are visible, though. 🥴🙃IMG_6426.jpeg

It's never still living next to the farm, but tonight it was really close. So I shut the pool off to make sure nobody installed flat head screws when I wasn't looking. It was confirmed. PHEW. There was a slight ripple so this was the best pic I got.
