In an attempt to eliminate a stain on new plaster, they did some acid brushing and he told me he added ~1.5 gallons of acid.

pH was 7.6 this morning.. now it's indicating 6.8 (bottom box). "Effects of adding" indicate I'm probably at 6.0 (-1.6ph change).

My TA is already high (~220). Should I just turn on spa bubbler and spillover? Probably silly question, but can this harm my new travertine coping/plaster if it's splashing all over it?

Aerate and the pH will rise. Incidental splashing is no issue.
Get the pH above 7 soon. It is not doing your heater any favors.
