Hey gang! Recently bought a Maytronics Active 30 from Marina. Thanks for the recommend. Great price and great service.

I bought the Active 30, in part, because of what appears to be the ability to use a fairly nuanced scheduling regime (on the website picture of the app). In my case, I would like to run the "Fast" cleaning mode most days of the week, and then "Regular" cleaning mode on others.

However, the scheduling only appears to let you schedule whatever active cleaning mode is currently selected. I was really disappointed.

Thus, put it in "Fast" mode, then attempted to modify the schedule. At least based on what the screen is telling me, that "appears" to have worked. Sunday now shows a fast mode scheduled, but Tuesday and Thursday shows a Regular mode scheduled.

Based on my forum search this appears to be a capability a lot of people want but haven't found answers for. Has anyone else played around with this, and/or figured out if this really works in practice? Or did I just make the screen glitch. LOL.

[4/18/23 UPDATE] You CAN force the app schedule to work for you. See my comment below for instructions. Cheers

Thank you @kimkats! I appreciate it. I was beginning to think that I smell bad.

Since I posted this, the schedule I landed on for this week has only had Regular cleaning cycles. However, it is scheduled to run a Fast Mode cleaning on Tuesday at 4:30 AM so I will be able to share the app report regarding the history.

Still wondering if anyone else has confirmed this works. I'll report back on Tuesday.

If it turns out that the app doesn't actually allow what you want, the power supply has a (possibly undocumented) "automation mode" that will just run the robot whenever it has AC power. So all you need is an AC outlet controlled by your pool automation, or a "smart plug" AC outlet that you can schedule to turn on and off at preset times. I like the Leviton plugs for around $25, but there are others available for as little as $7.

Update. It worked!

For anyone searching for how to schedule different cleaning modes on different days for the Active 30 or s300: Even though the app doesn’t OSTENSIBLY allow this, it can be “forced” to do so. I suspect it must be “forced” due to bad app design rather than Dolphin attempting to prevent the functionality.

Here is how to do it:

1. Put robot in “Regular” mode by starting a regular cleaning through the app. After a few minutes, stop the cleaning.

2. Use the advanced scheduling screen to schedule each of the days you would like it to clean in “Regular” mode.

3. Now go back to the mode selection screen and start a “Fast Mode” cleaning. After a few minutes, stop the cleaning.

4. Now go back to the advanced scheduling screen and schedule the days you would like the robot to clean I “Fast Mode.”

You’re done.

I had same problem and called Marina. If you run the schedule from the App you can only run in the 2 hour program. You cannot select the Fast 1 hour program for Scheduling. Yeah I know…

@Bvacchiano Check out my comment from a few minutes ago. You can force the app to recognize a more nuanced schedule. I provided step-by-step.
