Carrying case to fit the larger size TFTest 1oz refill bottles?

did you print out your own instruction sheets and laminate them to put in there?
I took the laminated sheet that came with the test kit when I got mine and leave it in the box. I also have the card printed and laminated @Turbo1Ton posted above and have that in there, I have plenty of room in my oversized box haha! I love all the ideas, "pool nerds", as @Texas Splash posted come up with creative ideas that fit their needs. I do like the TFTests pro box, but do not mind lugging my oversized test kit out by the pool either. I have everything I possibly need in there, above what came with the test kit like my PH meter, standards for that, my "water collector" tools etc. It's an added bonus when I get strange looks from whoever is around because they just cannot comprehend the "complexity" of my testing. Its not complex as we know, but it is organized!

$12.83 later I have joined the tackle box crew. I was such a nerd, I brought everything to the local sports store and stood around a bunch of different boxes in the fishing department to try them all out and fit the bottles in a way that I liked.

What an easy yet not obvious (to me) solution. Thanks.

I need to print off a Taylor test card since the original kit I bought has it printed on the box itself, but then as I don't ever plan on using it again maybe I will just Dremel off the lid and toss it in this box instead.

Just use this... These are for the TF-100. I have switched to using the Taylor 9058 comparator for pH and CYA, but if I forget, these remind me well enough, for those 2 tests.

I attached the PDF also. Another member here did this and I'll be darned if @Newdude reminded me who it was a couple weeks ago, and I can't find the thread so I can give credit where credit is due.

I printed this off, glued them together, back to back, then laminated them with the wife's laminator doohickey she has. It stays in the bottom of the test kit.

I just added a comment to the PDF so that I don't have to rely on my feeble brain to remember where it came from. So the next time I post it in this thread, I won't have to call anyone to remind me who to credit! :ROFLMAO:

Just use this...

Yikes. This is kind of spooky. Just this afternoon, I made this for my own particular testing procedure. Here it is as a Google Doc. Please copy and modify for your own use if helpful. The idea is a reminder of the numbers, mainly for the less frequent ones.

Your FC/TC test is in error. The FAS/DPD powder plus titration test measures FC directly, not TC.

I love the DIY tackleboxes. Way to go folks !!! That said, having used the TFpro for a full season, it's NICE. It's also real compact and if you get the pro-salt, the salt reagents just drop into 2 existing vials for double duty. You can test right from the case without even removing the smart stir.

I cannot reccomed upgrading enough, the next time you need supplies. I already had a speed stir so I free-cycled it to a friend who was still swirling like a heathen.

I just upgraded to the pro case as well when I ordered by TF100 refills. Do I have to order the pro-refills or will the 100 fit?

When it's time get the pro refills. The CYA comes in 3 small bottles instead of the 1980s bug repellant bottle of the TF100. Once you have the other CYA bottles you can get either refill and clean/refill the pro bottles. The rest of the vials/bottles are the same AFAIK.

You may have to cut some of the foam out of the case if you have a speed stir because the smart stir that comes with the pro kit is oval shaped and not a rectangle.
