High evaporation rates in SE/SC Texas

Hello to all,

Anyone from Austin, San Antonio and Houston areas had extremely high evaporation rates over the last 4-5 days? W the winds picking up and becoming much hotter, has your pool water be evaporating much faster? We filled pool to drain line and w in 2 days, it has really dropped. Is anyone else in the areas mentioned been experiencing their water line dropping much faster?

I'm in the Houston area and haven't noticed especially high evaporation rates lately - FWIW, our backyard has pretty dense trees/foliage which slows the wind to some degree.

My evaporation rates seem highest in the middle of summer and during unseasonably warm winter days (warm enough to heat up the pool water so that it's much higher than overnight air temperatures).
