Water leaking INTO pool - is this a problem?

New build, inground Gunite, is finally (almost) ready for plaster. But we've had a lot of rain for the past month (about 20" since Xmas) and the dirt around the pool has been thoroughly saturated. Now that it's finally stopped raining, there are streaks of dirt around the PVC pipes showing that water is leaking INTO the pool. Is this a problem that will be solved when the plaster goes on? Or do I need to excavate the back side of the pool shell and waterproof with Hydroban?

The plaster will seal around the pipes.

Once water is in the pool the pressure of water in the pool will prevent any surface water from flowing into the pool.

Pipes will be cut to length and returns glued on for proper depth of plaster, then outside of all pipes are sealed prior to plaster.
