Cyclone/Where (on pool equipment) to hook flexible hose?

Hello All

So I’m getting ready to close my pool tomorrow. I was wondering where to hook up the cyclone flexible hose to? Last year, I didn’t use a cyclone blower. what I did last year was attach a small hose to pic one (where the gauge is) and blow everything out from all lines. However, I’m going to have to hook up the cyclone hose to a different area cause it’s way too big. Can someone please advise me as to what to do? Please. 🫤

Take the tablet feed off at its unions and rig up the cyclone blower hose to the PVC return line. You find rubber adapters of various kinds in a hardware store drain/vent pipe sections.

For the suction side, you can either undo the union at the pump OR you can open up the 3-way valve and jam the cyclone hose into the internal pipe openings. Again, using some rubber adapters (and some strategic placement of duck tape and rags) can help a lot.

Do you mean the chlorinator? If so, where at the union are you referring to? I was outside and was having a heard time figuring it out lol. Do you mean this union in pic 1?

Also, what do you mean by “rig up the cyclone blower hose to the PVC return line.”

I’m a bit lost with that too

Undoing the union at the pump in pic 2?

I’ll look again at this tomorrow morning. Just trying to get a better understanding.

Undo here and here and blow each way respectively. You can likely just hold the hose to the pipe and the little bit of air escaping won't matter. Or a couple wraps of duct tape will seal it.
