My Wife and I do a 2 mile walk around the lakes (flood retention ponds) in our neighborhood. Here are some sunset shots over one of the lakes.

What a great idea to start this thread. I can’t wait to see some of these. I LOVE sunsets. Always have. One of my favorite things about where we live is that we get a Technicolor sunset right out the front door almost every night.

Typical morning for us on the boat somewhere searching for bass. The other shot is the eagle that follows. There are other boats but he always always hops trees with us all morning. He just watches and waits for fish to surface with us. Every single time we are up at this lake.

This weekends High School game. Finial score didn’t go the way we wanted, but the game at least was close. As a plus, daughter is in her second year in the band and they still haven’t lost a game.

Waiting on sunset at BHI. Might update again at around 6:30 which should be right at sunset. In the meantime I’m just going to continue to enjoy my beer out here…

A couple of years ago, we rented a VRBO house in the heart of Yosemite. We had a perfect view of Half Dome from our deck. It was mid-October and both the sun and a full moon would rise directly behind Half Dome. It was spectacular. The pictures really don’t capture it, but they’re still great memories!
