What are some other sites (philosophically similar to TFP but on other topics) you like? ie: lawn or basic home improvement

Also dont forget about the TLF. The Lawn Forum. Its the TFP for Lawns.

And all you retired people are making me crazy (yes that is me being jealous). Still have a few more years to go.

Out at 52, June 11, 2021, then the worst inflation in 40 years comes. Just be sure when you are ready to retire, have several years (minimum 2 years) worth of expenses in emergency money to weather a storm to avoid selling your 401k or any other investments at a loss.

I am not very worried. I will end up retiring a year or two too late. Just my conservative nature. For now, I am choosing to live my life more extravagantly with the wife and I taking some very cool trips. There are also a bunch of house renovations we want to do that are totally unnecessary but fun.

All right so I really like this site and will be frequenting but...TFP is 100x better. In terms of finding the info you're looking for and understanding said info. Or lawns are just ridiculously more complex than pools... maybe it's just my brain 😄.

I feel like I've been to most of these forums via Google but none grabbed me in like TFP. I've never paid for an app (excluding a few for business purposes) or website (I'm from the generation where Napster was blowing up)...that is until TFP.

I'm not one for massive regulation but the FCC, or Mark Zuckerberg, or Al Gore, The Illuminati, aliens, or whoever controls the internet should require all forums to model themselves after the TFP, and if that happens it literally could save the world.

Honestly tough thanks for all the suggestions I have bookmarked all of them. And TFP is awesome!

Dude, I'm pumped about the fall nitro blitz!

I live in South Florida so we dont do that here. I actually have to figure out what what my plan is.

I am actually pushing N right now while we still have heat and lots of light. Hoping to fill in my bare spots. Also running the sprinklers 4 days a week.

Those are nice words, keatz85. Thank you.

From the beginning, TFP has taken it's content seriously. The site is heavily monitored (all by volunteers) for suitability to the public and accuracy of content. We are fortunate to have some members who are truly experts in what they do and they share that knowledge willingly.

Continually on the "things to do" list is to keep the forum simple and understandable. The articles have ALL been written and overwritten and that will never stop........things just change.

thanks again for the kind words. Many, many folks have put a lot of thought and work into making the site worthwhile.

If you’re into land cruisers/ Toyotas - helped me tremendously over the years.
There are multiple Toyota forums but I feel like it’s one of the best. Many Toyota Master technicians in there that share service manuals & repair bulletins.
Whenever I have a problem to research I often type the word forum behind my question on google so I end up in an appropriate forum. As my husband says- there’s pretty much a forum for everything 🤣
