I have a new pool (completed 3/22). The builder put in a Hayward bubbler/light on my sun shelf but all of my other lights are Pentaire and I have the Pentaire automation so the Hayward light won’t sync with my other pool lights. The builder said he did that because at the time of the gunite being poured (last year), the Pentaire bubbler housings were in backorder, and he didn’t want to delay my project. The builder said he will replace it if it fits in the housing. Does anyone know if those items are interchangeable?

I have not heard of anyone trying that.
A Pentair Microbrite may fit into the 1.5” fitting Hayward uses for their light.
Your builder needs to get one and try it.
