Got a return line leak and pool repair guy dug into concrete but found this older type flexible pipe connected to return. He stopped and is getting a subcontractor to come visit and repair as wasn’t sure how it’s connected. Any ideas ?
Got a return line leak and pool repair guy dug into concrete but found this older type flexible pipe connected to return. He stopped and is getting a subcontractor to come visit and repair as wasn’t sure how it’s connected. Any ideas ?
I can see the flex pipe and band clamp used to secure it to "something" that goes to your return. Can't tell if it's clamped directly to a straight pipe, or perhaps a PVC adapter of sorts with a lip or barb that would allow the clamp to remain in place? Looks like some old-school work and is probably an opportunity to make a stronger, more reliable connection at this point.
