SWG - runtime question

Currently, I have my SWG running at %35 for 24hrs. If I were to only run the pump during the day, would the SWG generate the same chlorine but in 12 hours instead of 24hrs? Or do I have to increase the %? I have a schedule that I can set for the SWG to match the pump runtime.

SWCG's make a constant amount of chlorine per hour. A cell running at 10% for 10 hours makes the same amount of chlorine as a cell running at 100% for 1 hour.

If you only run for 12 hours instead of 24 hours, you cut your chlorine production in half.

The PoolMath App has an awesome feature that helps you determine what run time and/or SWG Output you need to adjust to get the output you need. I highly recommend it for anyone who uses a SWG and wants to fine tune the chlorine output.
