How screwed am I

I had some landscaping work done at the same time of my pool build. Huge regret. Can home to this. Ran the submergible pump all night and was able to get Most of the water out. I’m also scheduled to have my inspection next week. I don’t want to call my contractor because it’s Sunday but also want to know how bad this is. Can this still be shot with gunite in this condition. Or do the walls need more dirt behind it. I’m also in the lnland empire of California where the weather is gonna be mid 90s for the next couple days so I think it will dry out.
Thanks you everyone.

Welcome to TFP!

PB or rebar crew will need to come out and remove the dirt over the rebar to provide the required minimum clearance.
Gunite crew will fill the void where dirt washed out with gunite.

Get ahold of PB and advise of the issue. You won't pass pre-gunite inspection with it in its current state.

Hopefully you'll stick around. We can help you maintain a trouble free pool and save money at the same time.
Have a look thru:

In order to pass pre-Shotcrete inspection you are required to have a minimum of 3” between the rebar cage and dirt.
Also save yourself future headaches and hammer down all those pig-tails.

Notice the word "minimum". If they want to they can just shoot gunite in there and fill it up. This is not the worse we have ever seen.
those pig-tails.
By pig-tail he means all of the wire ties they left sticking out. Use a pair of pliers to bend them back into the rebar.

Thanks everyone for the quick response mother inspector came out anyway and just had some corrections. 3 inch clearance for the deep end of the pool was his only correction. My pool builder said it’s not a problem just happy he’s not gonna charge me for it.
