Reviewing our drawings right now before we sign on the dotted line! We are doing 2 skimmers, 3 returns, 2 step jets and no main drains. We generally have some prevailing wind across the width of the pool off of Lake Michigan but not every day.
1. Is it better to stagger skimmers and returns for a rotational flow or go with the wind and put both skimmers on same side?
2. Should I place one return “deep” on the wall in the deep end so I get some more flow near the bottom or just position it at the normal depth and point it down? Where is the best place to put my returns?
