Looking for opinions on coping..

Hi everyone.

I’ve raised concerns with my coping to my builder and the concrete company. Neither of them think it is an issue, so maybe my expectations are off….

I would have expected the overall coping to be more straight and uniform, and also the expansion joints to be straight. Overall, I feel like it looks sloppy, but they tell me it is within industry norm…

I'll be honest, everyone of your photos makes me wonder it the guy doing the job had a liquid lunch.

But sadly it comes ot the point - how far do you want to push things. No, they are not right.

But, will tearing it out and "fixing" it make it better?

After a couple of adult beverages things like that go away. Enjoy time with your family in the pool is my thought.

Looks fine and has character. Keep in mind this is a handmade/ formed product. I'd be more concerned that you don't have an expansion joint and mastic between your pavers and coping.

Neither of them think it’s an issue because it’s not in their backyard.
The only way to correct the issues is to replace the pieces completely, but that will bring up new concern, mainly the color will not match and from any angle that will show up more than the lines being off.

Thanks. I think the lines being off are less noticeable than a whole square being a slightly different color.
