This is the first year I’ve rolled my cover back to to find crystal clear water. I’ve been spoiled for 5 years. I’ve used my net, but I can’t see the bottom I’m draining some to add fresh water in preparation for pool opening on Tuesday I will not let them add any chemicals my problem last fall was my CYA was too high and I was having an issue holding chlorine, and getting SLAM high enough I want to start fresh. Anyway, I bought a Nautillus robot vac last year and I love it. It is a plug in, with self contained filter. Would you suggest I wait until filter has been running, chlorine moving, and water clears before I drop into pool?1B047E83-67D7-4BDD-9B27-2C8FA67FA49B.jpeg

Nah... drop that baby in there and let her at it. Just check the basket daily. She doesn't care that there is no chlorine in the water (which you can add now by the way). She'll help mix it up for ya!

So even though nothing is running I should add some chlorine?
