Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on the forum and show some pictures. This will be our 4th year having the pool and because of TFP, we have not had a single day that the water wasn't perfect and crystal clear. Only takes about 24 hours to get the water balanced when opened in the spring and after a few weeks I fall into a lazy routine of testing the water ever 2-3 weeks, although the pentair intelligence-chem system certainly helps a lot.

Beautiful setup.

Glad you made it through the winter depression. We had our last swim day Oct. 24th. I was fine during the holidays and hunting season. But I found myself staring out the back patio window after the new year, in a deep gloom.

Well, you made me do it. Put a quick coat of wax on the rim, filled it back up. Sun was shining, Admiral not home, WTH. Took the plugs off and installed the nozzles, reinstall the plugs on the pump and heater. Primed the pump, hit the "on" button, :eek:OOPS, the filter in leaking like a sieve. Turn the pump off, go get the cordless and tighten the band on the pump. Start over, same thing.:eek:
OK lets think about this, I then take the lid off the filter. Come to find out that the gasket on the filter isn't in place. More than likely this was my fault, I didn't take the time to make sure it was in place after I cleaned the filters last fall. Put it all back together, the right way. All's good now , hit the on bottom Again.
Success  every thing works just fine.

Nice pool! We open tomorrow. This is a few weeks late for me. I’m biting at the bullet but we had to do 2 minor repairs and I didn’t want the cover off and plaster exposed till it was done.
