It was an uphill climb for sure, but thanks to you guys you set me straight
Not so much you, but newbs in general.... I don't understand the uphill battle. We have the TFP clear thread and the dirt cheap supplies that real world people used to get there. It's a no brainer but such a fight each time.

If I was on my car forum and they had oodles of pics of track slips showing 9 second quarter miles with 87 gas and some tweaks made with screwdrivers, I'd be asking if my screwdrivers were the right size by the 4th pic. :ROFLMAO:

Honestly I think it was the fear of doing something major wrong and messing up costing tens of thousands that scared me to begin with. But honestly, this has been ABC with you guys.

I just pulled my water samples tonight, and compared them with my test logs from 5 months ago. I STILL HAVE CHLORINE!!! I'm in utter shock hahah. 1.5 ppm on the chlorine register, and everything else was virtually the same, except cya. Just 5 more up on it. I'll add what I need to for chlorine and sit back and wait for warmer weather!

Hey guys! Its April 3, and yesterday I pulled back the cover to reveal crystal clear blue water. There was quite a bit of leaves that I had to remove, but man was it good not to see green. Just want to say thanks to all of you who helped me last year with my swamp. Looking forward to a new pool season with TFP! View attachment 398902
Is there a thread detailing what you did to achieve this?
Thanks
