I was deep cleaning my sand filter per the instructions on here. I couldn't get the hose down in there good so I took off the diffuser assembly and wishing I hadn't. Now I can't get that that tube (9/12 in the diagram) put back in place. I can't really see down in there because sand is covering, but I think i can feel where it's supposed to go. Any advice on how to get it back on? What happens if I run the pump with it disconnected?
You'll have to see exactly how that tube was dislodged from the connection. Hopefully not broken. See the video below at about 6:20.
