Need Help, Pool Plaster Pebble Tec Question

Hi Everyone

Been having my pool put in for a while now and today they started filling the pool. All through this process I had a large are on the gunite where "efflorescence" had formed. Now after the Pool has been plastered using "Pebble Tec', they have now started the pool filling process. Today when I went out side I noticed where the area where the efflorescence was there is a wet spot forming on the pebble Tec. I have no doubt this is from the efflorescence area. Can someone that actually knows what I'm talking about tell me if I should be worried. Please see "Attached Photos" Thank you for your assistance.

Make sure those pics are dated in some way. Send them to your PB so you have it on record just in case it is bad in the end. Is there even a chance there is some form of water behind that area? Do you have any pics of the dig, steel work, shell work?
 
Hi and thank you for responding - Yes I have all the pictures and video dated of the entire building process. That still dose'nt answer my question though. How will this affect my pebble tec, and is it a problem for me???? I've been told that once the pool is filled the pressure from inside the pool will stop this process? Thank you
 
Ask the PB why didn't they just torch dry that spot out. It could make a hollow pocket and chip off. I cant tell the color but if it looks purple its water behind or under white plaster, I have not seen one on colored plaster yet. They can drain the pool down and fix that before it becomes a hollow pocket by thorching it dry. BTW Most hollow pockets are on the floor of the pool. So the pool pressure pushing on the wall of that pool stopping that from becoming an issue souds like bs. If 10,20, 30 thousands gallons cant stop hollow pockets by the force of the water, I cant see how it can stop it on the wall.
 
We are having a similar issue - we had some spots that were weeping after the new plaster and now unexpected rain has come and my brand new plaster is sitting in a bunch of rain. We haven't had the acid wash yet, and I'm just hoping and praying that it all turns out ok. DId your spot go away once the pool was filled with water??
