Hello all.
Brand new pool owner so I will be doing a lot of reading here before I ask any serious questions. Looking to see if there are any other current Desjoyaux pool owners here. A quick search found some owners scattered around over the last 8 years but not too much recently. Just lookin to see who I can bounce questions and thoughts to.

A couple of quick pics including my dolphin m600 that I absolutely love. Filtration system is pretty simple for a simple minded person like myself. Now I need to focus on the chem levels to make sure I can enjoy this. 13x26 with 8x6 tanning ledge and about 13k gallons give or take.

Yes the bag is located directly under the basket. Supposedly all I have to do is rinse off the filtration bag and clean out the basket daily. At least that is what I was told.
I've only been up n running for 2 weeks but I'm a little leery of taking samples to my neighborhood pool store cause I feel like they are making me buy too many needless chemicals. I like to know exactly what I'm putting in here.
