On 5/6 We started a new gunite pool (30K gal) in New Orleans. One of its attributes is that all the equipment, including the 400K NG heater is to be installed in the inside back of the newly constructed cabana.
Our equipment list would be the latest Pentair VS Pump; an IC60; an additional pump to be able to run the bubblers separately; 400K Heater; and various valves.
We’ve allotted for 5.5x7’ space of the 14x7’ back room.
Can someone point me to resources which would help me better understand the best way to do the following:
1. Ventilate the room
2. Transition the PVC from outside to inside in a way that seals from the elements.
3. Direct Vent the Heater out the side wall vs. the roof.
4. Any other pertinent info!!
Love to hear from anyone who has 1st knowledge of keeping the equipment inside (builder or home owner).
Thanks, Shannon
