Hi all. I have a Hayward T-9 SWG.
Background: : At the start of LAST YEAR’s pool season, I believe the panel had gotten wet and the SWG breaker tripped quit a bit for a day or two (about 5-6 times). However, after a few days it worked fine and never tripped again For the remainder of the entire summer (2 plus months). See picture of electrical setup. My SWG is on a separate breaker and is not electrically connected to my pump.
This year, the SWG stays on, for days, but then will randomly trip. Sometimes at night, sometimes during the day. When I Reset it, It will stay on, SWG resumes normal operation and nothing seems to be the problem. Typically it will stay on for 1-3 days before tripping again.
I thought it was a weak gfci - so I called an electrician out this past Monday (5/11) and he replaced the gfci. After he replaced the gfci, It stayed on, didn’t trip (I checked numerous times each day), but this morning it was off again and tripped! After 4 days! So frustrating!
Does the circuit board need to be replaced or at I missing something?
