White cloud film coming from jets with AquaRite 900..???

Hey guys, i recently opened my pool and started my Aquarite 900 salt and a white cloud filled the pool. I began to notice it coming from my jets and now it covers the whole pool. I turned it off and it stopped coming from jets and cleared right up. Any ideas, my pool guy told me the water is balanced fine. I ordered a test kit for myself and will take a water sample to local pool place tomorrow.

That is an extreme case, but we have seen this in the past. Never have been able to nail down what exactly it is. May be tied to water temperature, some odd chemistry combination that happens early in the year, we just do not know.

Getting our own test kit is a great idea. We recommend the TF100 from TFTestkits.net.
Up to you on getting a test at a pool store. Honestly, we do not even look at them.

I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
 
Yes. We have yet to see any detriment with it.
It will be good for you to test your own water chemistry.
