Hi - I am trying to get the skimmers to catch more of the surface debris. Would like any advice on how to best set the return jets. I have highlighted the returns in red, skimmers in blue, and in green is a Polaris outlet that is currently not being used and I have the valve off. I could use this as a 5th return if it would be helpful. Thanks!

That return near your skimmer really messes up your water flow. You need to experiment with pointing returns in different directions. Toss some ping pong balls in the pool on a day with no wind and see which way they move. The wind will have more effect on surface flow then the returns.

Thanks. Do pool builders usually not think about this?? Or could there be a logic to the layout - just a puzzle for me to figure out?
