Built in Spa - cover

We have a built in spa. It is relatively small so we heat it on demand. It is roughly 80" square, and we are looking for solutions of a cover to keep out debris. The main pool has an electric cover, but the spa is completely separate. We had a typical large foam cover but it was very difficult to move around and the weight caused issues with our coping getting cracked. (Probably was a little too small and barely touched the coping on each side causing strain) I saw a beautiful cedar roll up cover but the price was out of the range of what I am looking for. Any thoughts?

Post some pictures of your spa and existing cover so we can understand your situation better.

I think all spa covers end up being thick, heavy and ugly.

Try a "solar" cover. It should prevent evaporation and reduce heat loss.
