Adding Second Pool Light-Help

Our shell was completed about 10 days ago there in one large light but we would like to add another pool light in the shallow end.
The PB said they can still drill into the shell and place one in the shallow end since they still need to do the plumbing work.
I was concerned about drilling in the shell at this point and if it will cause future cracks or damage.
Thanks for the help

Technically, the concrete is only probably around 70% cured after 10 days. It is strong enough to drill through. I would use a small bit for a pilot hole then use the larger bit on one side and go about half way, then drill from the other side to prevent spalling (the big blow out of concrete from around the hole).

What type of light will you install? I think the easiest light would be a no-niche light that screws into a 1 1/2" PVC pipe like the Pentair MicroBrite.

Your pool has not been plastered yet. They can core drill a hole for a conduit and put in whatever size light you want.
