Pool work nightmare

Hello everyone,
Sorry for the long post. Its actually my birthday today and I am sitting here worring about my pool patio area. I would appreciate any input please! We are getting our 71 classic inground hybrid pool changed from a fiberglass wall, concrete bottom to a vinyl liner. Back story, our PG (pool guy) said he could change ours from hybrid to vinyl liner by changing the return and adding a track. So upon that we hired a concrete guy (CG) to pour a cantilever coping (which our PG said can be done, PG doesnt do concrete anymore). PG said he only wanted to tear out around the pool to make sure the concrete crew didnt damage our fiberglass walls. We had this done by the PG. After the concrete was all torn out, our PG screwed some Steigmeir forms into the fiberglass. CG said he had never poured coping that was screwed on but said he would. It looked good until we noticed many problems. Apparently some of the coping moved during the pour giving us some low spots that actually drain into the pool! PG said this will get behind our liner, which is not installed yet. Our CG said he would tear out only the low spots and it wouldnt match. Not to mention, CG tried a natural drain in the concrete which flows right by my foundation. We dont know what to do and we are scared if CG does that, the old fiberglass wall will get damaged and or our foundation.(Especially if they are upset by repouring) Plus it's going to look peiced together. Should the PG be at fault for the coping? Also the CG for the concrete? I dont know what to do...

I don’t understand the natural drain that flows by your foundation problem.

If the PG and CG will not get together and take responsibility to make it right you will have to make the best of the situation. Have the CG repour the low areas and see how it looks. You may need to put down a concrete stain or kool deck coating to even it up.

Coping screwed onto fiberglass

Thanks for the input. The main issue is the water flowing over the cantilever edge. With water by the foundation in Kansas though, it tends to freeze and crack which could also effect the foundation. If we replace just the low spots it will look like a piece together mess. We are meeting with both PG and CG this Friday.
