Very proud of this DIY project - first time I've ever worked with PVC.
Replaced my old pump with a Hayward VSP2303, realigned the pipes to take out some elbows and replaced all the others with sweeps (finally found 1.5" 90 sweeps from Waterway), added a Jandy 2-way valve for winterizing, and a Flowvis flowmeter.
Working great - I'm getting good flow (30 GPM @ 0 PSI, 60 GPM @ 7 PSI) and the pump is so quiet at the lower settings!
