Help ID This Pool Type

Looking at purchasing a house with a pool in distress. Can someone identify what type of pool it is? I believe it to be Gunite/plaster, but without any coping. Just wondering if anyone can confirm and if the6 know anything about this type of construction.

A closer view would help ... but just touching it should tell you what the surface is.
Only 3 options: plaster/concrete, fiberglass, vinyl.

I’m 99% sure it concrete. It’s just that I’ve never seen one built like this so I’m wondering if there a history to this type of construction.

Looks homebuilt, painted concrete. You could tap it lightly and listen to it to determine for sure.
