Just wanted to say thank you for this site and all the advice I received. This was my first season having my own pool. I found this site when I ran into problems and ended up draining the pool and started over using the TFPM. I also purchased the Taylor K 2006 test kit. I followed all instructions, including a SLAM when algae decided to make a reappearance. I successfully killed the algae and my water looks as good as the day I refilled the pool.
Its not difficult folks! Just buy the test kit ( it really is a must) and follow the advice here. It’s solid. Anyway, just thought you guys would appreciate a post for once where someone actually followed your advice instead of making excuses for why they didn’t/can’t etc.
