Converting Outlets

I have a 20'x48" Intex pool and I'm looking at converting the 1.25" intake hoses to 1.5" and adding plungers to the outlets. I have ordered these plungers:

But I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to attach them to the pool wall. I found these adapters:

It seems illogical to attach a 1.5" hose to a 1.25" hole with a converter - the restriction would defeat the purpose. I've done a lot of searching on the site but it seems like almost everything is from the early 2010's, and the few posts I've found either have old photobucket links that don't work or reference using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010EHVS9A/ oldoutlet.jpg
Unfortunately these are unavailable on Amazon.

I found

and I'm wondering if they would work. There is zero information about this item on the Intex website and I want to confirm that my plungers would be able to screw onto the replacement outlet. Anyone tried this or have any information?

The two lower images are the same suction strainers. The plungers fit right on to them. You need 1.5 inch hoses too and then either adapters or pump/filter that has 1.5 as well. Not sure exactly what you are asking. Surprised your 20 foot pool isn't already 1.5, mine is an 18' and everything came with 1.5" fittings.
