Need some help, and all help/advice is appreciated. I'm looking for some DIY fencing to keep my toddlers from being able to access the pool from my patio. my plan is to fence in the patio and not the pool.
What's some of the recommended DIY sets out there? I'm looking at the sentry safe DIY kits now. I need roughly 40' of fence. That includes door footage. Only one 90 degree turn.

When we built last year we extended the existing patio slightly and added a fence. Its heavy duty, looks great (my opinion), self closes, kids can't reach the latch at the top (YET) and it is NOT physically attached to the house so it can easily be removed down the road. Although Im not sure I would remove because it provides an added layer of protection to the home since it locks. Here are a few pics but excuse the mess :)

Hope this helps as this was one of our better decisions....

I put this fence up around my first pool when my kids were toddlers. My father-in-law and I knocked it out in just a few hours. Rented the equipment to drill the holes in the decking, popped in the sleeves, inserted the fencing and BAM all done. If you're handy around the house you'll have no problems.

I had something similar installed last year around my pool to act as a failsafe in case my grandson was able to escape my eyeballs. It works well to control access, although he is clever enough to push a something over to it now and try to vault over it, if he was ever left unsupervised for very long, which he isn't.

I had something similar when my kids were small and was able to move it from my first pool to my second pool, only drilling some new holes in the deck and it kept them safe through their learning-to-swim years. The hard part to installing imo is the coring of the deck.

The other benefit to these is it keeps a lot of leaves and junk from blowing in to the pool, a decent place to hang towels, etc.

Some folks think these fences are ugly, but I like them and think if they save one toddler they're well worth it. An acquaintance of mine was not so lucky with a toddler that slipped outside during a family get-together and that was a lot uglier than a fence.

Thanks...my PB had it made for me. He also made a custom pool box which is huge! It holds all my pool toys, loungers, umbrella and so on...

My PB was incredible as I just gave him my ideas and he made it happen!
