    Cloudy water advice please

No, but thank you for the suggestion. Will do this tonight! I've been doing it in the morning instead of at night and in the morning. It's looking much more clear, but the pH dropped again to 7.2 and we added Muriatic per the pool calculator to get it to 7.4. Our pool has more than 29,500 gal...

    Cloudy water advice please

Thank you--I've updated things I believe... I've been studying the Pool School and using the Pool Calculator for the 2 years we've had the pool. It's incredibly helpful. The calculator has kept the water in balance when the SWG goes wonky. FC 5.5 CC 5.5 pH 8.0 (up from 7.2 on Sunday) TA 60 CH...

    Cloudy water advice please

28,000 gal plaster pool with a SWG Using TF-100 test materials It was clear a week ago. It suddenly became cloudy and slightly green, and running the filter 24/7 isn't working. I can't see the drain cap in the bottom of the deep (8.5 ft) end, but can see the vacuum. Filter is less than 2 years...

New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 8/28 PebbleSheen pics)

Re: New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 8/6) After the pavers were installed, the dirt removed from the pool excavation needed to be spread and the ground graded for the fence gates to be replaced. We were at the mercy of the weather and needed THREE DAYS with NO RAIN before they would even try...

New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 8/28 PebbleSheen pics)

Re: New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 8/6) Pavers took a while to install. Partly because of the rain and partly because they didn't order enough, then we had to wait for more to be delivered, then more rain! They look great now that they're in the ground!

New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 8/28 PebbleSheen pics)

Re: New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 8/28 PebbleSheen pic How's your build going? Our PB is highly recommended and regarded too, but their communication sucks. Every outside person we've talked to has said this PB is the best in Atlanta, so we are trying to stay calm and hope our build...

New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 8/28 PebbleSheen pics)

Re: New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 7/29) It's uh, day 13? 14? 15? Lost count... Grounding grid installed: The pavers have been delivered! We have passed the electrical inspection, so hopefully they can move forward with the decking assuming the weather holds. Yesterday was dry and...

    Coping issue: WWYD? (Updated: thanks!)

Update: The PB is replacing the tiles, but now we are on the "naughty list" I suppose. Nothing can proceed until they're done, and the response made it seem like they will not be in a hurry. Thanks for your feedback. I'm pulling this out from the build thread to hopefully get more replies. :)...

Re: New Pool Build in Atlanta! (Updated 7/26) Day 12: Equipment and Electrical Roughing And today we failed the electrical inspection. I don't know what the codes indicate, but it means more delay. We're getting frustrated.
