    Automation or not?? Pool Remodel

I sent him the link so he can see some of the opinions. I told him that this was a great resource for all things swimming pool related. He gets a little busy with work kids and the new home but I think he will pop in.

    Automation or not?? Pool Remodel

These were my thoughts as well, but I am not footing the bill. Other than the intellicenter, what other options are there? The easy touch seems similar but without the touchscreen interface. Maybe he can save a little money going this route? Pentair seems to have a pump now that has some type...

    Automation or not?? Pool Remodel

Greetings! Thanks for chiming in. His pool was running old style timer and no SWG. No spa, just the single pool. He does like the idea of control via the phone app but there doesnt seem to be alot to control. Lights color/schedule - SWG - pool pump (which could be programmed on the pump itself)...

    Automation or not?? Pool Remodel

My good friend is finishing a concrete pool remodel (pool is originally from the 70s) for his new home. They added a shallow step and a bench, updated plumbing, and installed a proper skimmer. He will install 2 leds on the shelf and 3 in the pool. He is planning on installing a pentair...

    INTELLICENTER WEB-CLIENT / MOBILE APP?

I vote 1 yet as others have stated, both interfaces need some work. I have flipped back and forth depending on needs or if the app is acting up. Would love to see Pentair put some work into polishing it all up. Get the bugs fixed and lets add some more bells and whistles!!

I reopened my ticket (or opened a new one) with pentair. Guy I spoke with said he didnt know of any incompatibilities with iph and ic60 (or 40). Lets see what they do this time around. I need a solution that will last amd not one that will just linger until the warranty runs out. @Dirk do you...

    Intellicenter - IC60 - Intelliph problems

Morning! I saw no noticeable drop in FC this morning vs last night. Levels were pretty high as I usually add liquid chlorine at the beginning of the week. I work at the Fire Dept on a 24hr shift so In case I get stuck at work I added half a jug. Since I have to add manually the FC fluctuates...

    Intellicenter - IC60 - Intelliph problems

I will solder and heatshrink that connection. connections in the intellicenter are made with the same molex connector that the original pigtail used. The matching connector to the small pigtail that comes out of the surge board. I used 16AWG copper which is what the intellichlor wire said on...

    Intellicenter - IC60 - Intelliph problems

@Dirk thanks for all the suggestions!! they have swapped out intelliph control board 3 times counting the burned out one. The surge board was only swapped out once after it looked damaged as well. I can run a few OCLT in case they ask, good idea. I thought about the wiring but I checked my...
