Xamarin uses UWP for the windows app, which for a long time did not support being a regular EXE, but you can do that now. I'm not sure that the Xamarin tooling supports it natively or not. I've been out of the mobile game for a bit and back to web development.

I don't believe its available outside of the app store. I 100% understand being anti walled garden, but there are some advantages to UWP apps. They are sandboxed and cant do things like edit your registry, which allows you to install and uninstall apps without "machine rot", unlike traditional...

Solar covers for a pool are great, keeps water, chlorine and heat in. Well, I just ordered my circupool yesterday and it hasn't arrived yet. Can't say this is something I wanted to read. Circupool overall highly recommended on this forum.

I'm not sure if it's been clear here, but I would try to vacuum it with the water dumping out of your pool, not just running it through the filter. Does your plumbing have a valve to have the water dump out?

I can DIY no problem, not seeing any good used panels where I am though. I'm thinking I may wait a month or so and hope someone posts some on craigslist.

HotSpot FPH is a neat idea, but I would like it heated outside of times I'm using the air conditioner. I'd also love to just go the gas heater route, but the gas line goes under an add-on to my house and is leaking underground, and its concrete all the way from the meter to the heater 70 ft...
