    Booster pump buusssted.

True. If I put an actuator on the spa suction, then that could solve that issue right? I'm at my limit of 8, but who needs a bubbler anyways??? Any thought on how to plumb the 2nd pump into the generalized return so I could select Pool or Spa with it? Apparently can't add before the...

    Booster pump buusssted.

Hey all, I had a booster pump added in the initial plumbing to help with the water features and my 60" spillway. The 2nd pump is a 2speed 2HP, and was originally plumbed to be spa only Because the potential 4HP flow through the cartridge would have harmed it, they replumbed to the 2nd pump...

    Star Floor Fiberoptic Light Questions

You could grind out a channel for each one, but that'd be a lot of work. They always broke at the insertion side (rod into base). The rod itself is pretty durable, and there was plenty of length left over after plaster. Look at my photos on the other thread to see what I'm talking about...

    iAqualink or OmniLogic

I like my omnilogic. The app I don't trust when I'm away, but the website control is fantastic. I constantly monitor remotely, and even tbough my home's intemet was down all day Tuesday, the scheduled applications came on.

    Star Floor Fiberoptic Light Questions

SR Smith sells (or distributes) the Older fiberstar name. They have 2 options: a 25 light kit with 25' lines and led driver (includes driver housing), and a longer kit that uses the old school high watt bulb with rotating color wheel. I have 3- 25'led drivers After I doing the install...

CYA about 200, need help on draining pool

I ghettovaccumed some sand yesterday, suction end was 7' below waste end. Water level-->bucket was maybe 12" difference. My hose defies gravity. And can someone please make a pockethose (the shrinking kind) that doesn't self destruct? Gex, did you correct your CYA?

CYA about 200, need help on draining pool

Why not just put a hose or 2 on the pool and siphon it out? Easy and cheap.

    Hayward OmniLogic Low Voltage Relays

I just realized that I did end up wiring my lights to the high voltage relays because of the programming issues. Basically ran a hot 12V from transformer to each HVR, and ran back the hot to each lighting section. Works awesome, and so far I haven't set my house on fire. I ended up needing...

    Hayward OmniLogic Low Voltage Relays

Its basically an "on/off" switch. I have a transformer powering several different types of 12v lights, and ran each location to its own LVR. The omni lets me instantly turn all of these areas on as needed

    Star floor installed

I think 25-40 would have been fine. The luminance really depends on the active color/mode. Also, many are not overly visible unless you're looking directly down on them.

    Star floor installed

So this project took a couple calls to the manufacturer, a lot of unproductive internet search time, and trial/error....but now that I'm done hopefully I can offer some suggestions. I did 75 lights (3 LED drivers, 25' fiberoptic lines) on a sunshelf. Usually these are placed on the deeper...

    Heliocol installation questions (DIY)

Gator straight to joists. Good luck, I'm sure the effort will be worth it
