TA is steady at 80, some returns cause turbulence as the water level drops. Should I make sure that they are pointing below the water surface?

I am wondering what the PH value is for 12.5% liquid chlorine. My pool is stuck at 7.8, added muriatic acid to bring it down to 7.4, but it keeps creeping back up consistently. I'm adding approx. 1/2 gal of LC each morning.

I had an original CH of 50, will there be any effect, on the chemical balance if I raise the CH. And is it necessary for a vinyl pool?

Pool is clear, should I drop the PH to 7.2 for the slam?

Can a chemistry wiz please take a look at my Pool Math logs and help me with a sanity check on what is going on with my water. Pool is clear and no visible signs of algae. It seems to me like it's eating quite a bit of LC on a daily basis. Last OCLT showed a 2ppm drop overnight. Thanks in advance

Well I've been Slamming it since wednesday, with a slight interruption on Thursday for a friends wedding/reception (heh) , but as of friday maintained the Slam as advised. Yesterday's numbers looked reasonable, dared to do an OCLT, raised FC to 10.0 last night, around 4:PM, checked at 9:00PM...

Liquid shock only, I'm converted and will probably us LC as my go to chlorinating agent. Would it matter if I have a floater with last years pucks floating around? I'm guessing that they may still be somewhat viable for chlorine, and at least dosing some CYA, as I'm only at a CYA of 30.
