    CircuPool RJ45+ Cell Connection Error

My RJ45+ gave the cell connection error with keypad lockup error over the weekend. Just got off the phone with DSP. Asked if any pins are bent. When I said no he stated they would send the pcb adapter. I have had the unit just over 2 years but he said the adapter is cover 100% and shipping is...

    Circupool flow switch replacement

Ok. It was that simple to replace got the new flow switch today. Comes in the PVC T just unscrewed the new one from the new T unscrewed the old one from the return line. Lined up the new one and screwed it in. Took a minute or two and I am back to generating chlorine.

    Circupool flow switch replacement

Any one have any experience replacing the flow switch on a circupool RJ45+. I had an incident with neighbors dogs got inside my fence next to pool pad and caught the wire from the switch and broke it. Of course wire broke right next to switch so not enough wire to splice it back together. Just...

New to Salt, Test strip shows Chlorine, digital shows low ORP?

The problem is we can guess but we can’t even say if the guess is right without knowing the chemistry of the pool. As stated before the OTO test reports total Cl. The test you have goes to 3ppm. If you have that number and do a fas-dpd test it would give free Cl and combined Cl separately. If...

Adding SWG - question re multivalve

The menu function will only display salinity when the cell is actively generating. Also I have noticed on mine when it first starts generating the salinity is around 4200-4300 then after a minute or two it comes down close to 3800ppm and stays around it till it finishes the generating run. My...

Circupool RJ 45 plus salt cell; lo salt/check cell light

Are the large swings in salinity happening when it starts up or through the entire run. I test with Taylor K-1766 and get 3800 ppm. My RJ45+ when it first starts generating reads 4200-4300 then after a few minutes of running settles down to 3800-3900 on the menu with my average at 3700-3900. I...

Circupool RJ 45 plus salt cell; lo salt/check cell light

On the controller hit the salinity button and see what reports for average salinity then check and see what salinity it reports with the menu button when it is actually generating. Curious to see if there is a difference. If the average is being updated or it is still using the average from the...

    Secondary SWG

Actually I run my pump 24/7. My SWG a Circupool RJ 45+ in my 22,000 gallon pool I run at about 25% to 30%. The use time on the cell is the same if I run at 25% for 24 hours or 100% for 6 hours. So from a cell life standpoint it makes no difference which run I do. But running a longer time gives...

    Secondary SWG

I understand the OP wants to run their pump at the most efficient speed and time. Looking at the math it doesn’t add up with two SWG. I am one of those people that run my VS pump 24/7 365 don’t close my pool. I run for 22 hours at 1500 rpm and 2 hours at 2200. Higher speed was when I would add...

Adding SWG - question re multivalve

I have an RJ45+ also according to the manual the average salinity will read what was measured at the factory first installed. It takes 24 hours of pool operation for the average to update.

New RJ45+ Install, I glue like a 5 year old.

Out of curiosity contacted Circupool about the cell. They state the cell is not directional. Only the flow switch is directional.

    Dolphin filters

Yes that exactly what I have. Thanks I thought as long as they are not torn they were good just checking.

    Dolphin filters

I got a Dolphin Atlantis second hand. It came with filter bag and I switched it to the filter plates. I take it apart and rinse the filter plates after every use. How often do I need to replace the filter plates with new ones.

    Algae question

It’s been windy but it calmed down enough to get a picture. This on the ramp to the deep end of the pool around 6 ft deep
