Just replace automatic pool cover and it has a "kink"

As long as it rolls up more or less flat and even, it will be fine. If it rolls up creased in that same place every time, I do think it will eventually create a weak spot. Ours occasionally creases when it opens a little but never in the same place. 4 years in, it's still in terrific shape.

    IntelliCenter2 Migration to Pentair Home

@MyAZPool - I was just prompted also. Is there a method to this madness? I know I'm resurrecting almost old thread - thought it was worth an ask.

    Free Stenner FP-series Replacement Tube

Free to a good home - one FP-series replacement tube. I used a Stenner for my sulphur system in the house for a while before converting to an Ozone system. I know some here use a Stenner for chlorine dosing, etc. If you can use it, let me know and I'll send it your way.

    Mastertemp 400 Gone!

This is exactly what I did. A dealer came out to do some warranty work last fall and really liked the setup - I was a little concerned he would give me a hard time. Also - in a testament to what I've learned here, he assumed that because of the issues we've had that it hadn't been used based...

    Closing at SLAM okay?

I closed the pool yesterday, as water temps had drifted to the mid 50s consistently. I ran it up to SLAM level, let it circulate for 30 minutes or so and blew everything out. I’m now remembering that it is recommended to let the level drift down for a few days. Should I open the cover...

    Removing Pentair CCP Drain Plug

If you can't get it off with channel locks, the last resort is to drill a hole through it, insert a screwdriver through the hole, and use that leverage to get it loose.

Help me recommend a pump and SWCG to a new TFP-er

I have a friend who has asked for help converting their pool to TFP. He has a single speed pump and has been using pucks. Simple rectangle pool with no complications. I suggested that he convert to a VSP and at the same time install a SWCG. I have a full Intellicenter setup, but I don't...

    Is this CYA okay?

Picked up this CYA from Amazon, and it reads 98% CYA Hydrate and 2% "inert ingredients". Is that normal, or should I send it back?

Thanks so much for this update. Would you be kind enough to let me know what you learn on this? I should probably put pressure on them from my side also.
