    Clogged skimmer line

    Thanks for the advice, Tex. Luckily, I left the pump keep running in the line while I ate lunch. When I got back, the line was free.

    Clogged skimmer line

    We had a storm with strong winds that blew about a thousand leaves into my pool (in-ground, 12x20 lap pool). The line from the skimmer in the deep end somehow got clogged. I tried running a garden hose into the line at the pump but that didn't work. I tried blowing out the line with my leaf...

    Intermittant water flow

    My system works fine for about an hour, and then pressure drops, causing water flow to slow. I can regain normal flow simply by shutting off the pump and turning it back on. I can think of several causes, but I'm no expert on this problem. Any ideas?

    Continuous rain and algae prevention

    Thanks for both of your replies. (No, my fill water is normal. I use soda ash to raise pH and baking soda when needed to raise alkalinity.}

    Continuous rain and algae prevention

    endless rain I open my pool about the same time that a two-week period of rain began. My land is turned into a water world. My pool collects worms, crawdads, and garden snakes. I worry that algae will begin, so I keep my chlorine levels above-normal. My pool is 12 feet by 60 feet. I chlorinate...

    After slamming, combined chlorine way up

    New to forum, not sure if I'm posting in right place. I just finished slamming, have beautiful water, passed the overnight test, but now cc level went sky high. I have a Taylor K-2006 test kit. Early this am the water had 23 ppm FC and 1 ppm CC. Four hours later, on a cloudy day, FC dropped...
