    New 3-Port Diverter Valve Leaks

I responded below before I realized I could post directly to you. See my comments below. I've opened up the 3-way valves to check for debris. I have a check valve in there too and I have not checked that one yet. But the new 3-way valves should hold even if the old check holds.

    New 3-Port Diverter Valve Leaks

To HermanTX, right, when in spa mode, the filter pump pulls out of the spa, goes through the filter, bypasses the solar, to the gas heater and back to the spa. The 3-way valves on the suction and the discharge of the Filter pump control flow to spa or to pool.

    New 3-Port Diverter Valve Leaks

Good point. I only do it once a year. Maybe once a year is all it will take to plug up.

    New 3-Port Diverter Valve Leaks

I wanted to heat the pool with solar while at the same time, heat the spa with the gas heater. The Filter pump is configured to heat the pool or the spa. When the spa is heating with the filter pump, you can't use the solar panels. I have a Feature pump that normally just circulates the pool...

    Looking for pebble tech repair

I just had my pebble tech chipped out and redone. It is unbelievable the pebble tech I have, aqua blue, is not UV resistant. The new pebble will be different color. The cracks will likely grow to the point of really needing replacement, at least the did in my case. The pebble warranty is 5...

    Cracks in Shotcrete Shell

After discussion with engineers and contractors we decided cracks were not structural. We filled in the cracks with water seal and finished the pebble tech application. Time will tell if that was right decision.

    Cracks in Shotcrete Shell

The builder says if the ground moved there is no warranty. He has not marked up what the contractors have charged to do the other repairs. The crack is not where the Pebble Sheen delaminated and not the reason we decided to remove all the pebble sheen. The two cracks are both at one end of...

    Cracks in Shotcrete Shell

The pool is 5 years old. The Pebble Sheen was delaminating along one side and we decided to redo the Pebble Sheen. We chipped and hydro blasted the old Pebble out. We wondered if the delamination was due to the shell cracking, but we were not sure. Now we can see where the shell is cracked...

    Plaster coming off newish pool

I have a situation going now in SoCal with a well established pool builder. After 3 years, the Pebble Sheen started to crack away from the shotcrete shell. Now 5.5 years later, I will start repairs. The builder first blamed the soil caused a hinge crack and no warranty given a soil issue...

    Pebble Sheen Delaminating

I am not the lawyer up type. But do think the builder needs to do more. I sent Pebble Tech an email today and meeting with two builder types tomorrow. Update on that later. Thanks for the discussion.

    Pebble Sheen Delaminating

I have heard the Pebble Sheen is not supposed to be left dry and exposed to sunlight. The pool was originally going to have a tile cover over the top of the wall. The builder suggested leaving the tile off, saving some money and just have the exposed Pebble Sheen on top of the wall. It seemed...

    Pebble Sheen Delaminating

It seems very likely my wall was not sealed properly based on your reference. Thank you.
